FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I started Armstrong Plumbing because I was tired of charging crazy markup when I was a tech with different companies in the Valley. Of course I want to make a profit but I also want to be able to sleep at night. I do beleive that most people dont understand the costs involved in running a Plumbing Company in this Market. My price point is usually about half what the larger companies charge. We provide the best products and the highest quality workmanship and I beleive a far better overall experience.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First I want to let them express what their needs are.. Always listen first. Then after I have a clear understanding of what they need and what they want I provide options. Im not a salesman, Im an educator. I simply share what I have learned over 38 years and then I shut up and I let the client decide what is right for their family and home.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Oh wow, this is a difficult question to answer. As far as an actual classroom setting, I have sat through multiple Navien training courses and even attended their course in California. My real training and the thing that I have learned the most from isnt a classroom. My most valuable lessons and training in plumbing have come from making mistakes. Mistakes are a huge part of life. In anything we do. We learn our most valuable lessons through failure. The mistakes get much fewer and fewer as you continue but, I dont believe we ever stop making them. I have been plumbing for 38 years and I still learn new things each day.
