FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My patient is based off of the average for our location, quality of my work, and current expenses. I always do whatever it takes to get the job done and make the customer feel good about the work that I performed.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I started learning construction at 12 years old helping my dad remodel his home. Same time I was taking shop at school my teacher selected me out of all his students that year to help him during the summer for spending money. I did so well he kept me for every summer through high school. I got a job as a apprentice part time with my uncle’s remodeling company at 16. By the time I was 20 I had finished my apprenticeship. I then went into specialized training for roofing 3 years, framing 3 years drywall and painting 3 years, custom tile bathrooms and floors 2 years, carpet installation 1 year (really easy), setting outlets, fixtures and running wire for 2 years. Installing doors and windows 4 years. Last but not least installing countertops and cabinets 3 years. Shelving picture hanging, shelving, 1 year National Guard 6 years. And my own handyman and remodeling business owner 10 months and counting. I also did a year of construction apprenticeship with the local builders union in Indiana. That was very helpful and showed me a lot about building codes.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
First time I ever got to be around my dad @11-12years old, he was remodeling his house. And of course I had to help turns out that I was really good at it and still love it.
