Gary was great to work with! We built an addition (bedroom and bathroom) onto our existing house and, although we had ideas, we needed some direction. Gary had excellent ideas that really made the addition more functional and visually pleasing. He is very professional and knowledgeable and guided us all the way through the permitting process. Highly recommend!

Gary Sumberg, of GSDesign, completed a architectural design for for our master bedroom which included a small addition but a total repurposing of the space that gave a larger, more elegant feel using a glass door wall to bring the outdoors in. The addition of a privacy patio with hot tub and outdoor shower gives it that spa like feeling with simple lines that make a wonderful transitions from the new walk in closet and bathroom, to the outside sitting area. Gary put everything we talked about into the bedroom suite making it look as though it had always been apart of the house.
He listened to out thoughts and was able bring it to reality. We would use Gary again and recommend GSDesign!

Gary was referred to us by a friend and ended up being the linchpin to our project. He was communicative, professional, knowledgeable and HONEST. He saved us money in any way he could without sacrificing quality. Finding a good architect can be difficult but we struck gold with Gary and will be referring him as often as possible.

We hired Gary to draw the plans for our poolhouse/guesthouse. I already had a good idea of what I wanted, but Gary made some really great suggestions and had ideas that made the project so much better. He saw the style that I liked by being in my home and was able to quickly throw out ideas for the poolhouse that would compliment the existing house and my style. He worked with the City of Phoenix to fulfill the permit requirements and kept me up to date the entire time. The project is almost complete now and it looks great. I'm grateful for the suggestions he made. He is very creative and easy to work with. Not only is Gary great at what he does, but he's a pleasure to work with and be around. I would definitely recommend Gary and would hire him again if I had another project!
