- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We do have standards pricing for some of our services such as garage door insulation or garage attic insulation. However when we are working on larger projects we like to provide a free in home estimate so we can match our services to meet your project goals. After inspection we are able to give customers an exact price with on service with no hidden fees.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
At Thermo Shield LLC we provide a free in home estimate to our customers. We like to do the job right and the best way to do that is to do a thorough attic inspection. After attic inspection we provide options for home energy efficiency. Such as good, better, best services depending on your goals and budget. We like to see the project in person so we can give you and exact price with no hidden fees. After services and price are agreed on then we schedule a date and time to do the work.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been working in construction all my life. I have been working strictly with insulation and home energy efficiency for the last 6 years. I have learned that there are many factors that come in to play for an energy efficient home. Such as air sealing, duct sealing, radiant barriers, solar attic fans and correct installation of insulation. I am currently working on my BPI certification to do home energy audits.
