Introduction: Arepa babe was created by Angelica Urrego in 2020 in the mist of the pandemic.
I am driven by her mission to create a space for a cultural experience, food and fun centered on the traditional flavors of Colombia.
A dynamic and engaging process that is culturally rich will make this experience a very authentic opportunity to discover flavors of this part of South America.
A culinary experience is what I focus for my clients to have. Colombian cuisine is being explored here in the desert of Arizona and I am proud to be that person for you to do it with. Quality of ingredients and of course: unique flavors. If you are looking into some great alternatives and great quality products this is the place. Supporting local farmers is a must for my business.

As a Colombian who’s loved in Phoenix for 7 years, it is so amazing to have Arepa Babe’s authentic food, high-quality Colombian creations available. She has filled a void we had, and fully recommend Arepa Babe. I love the arepas, the pandebono waffle with chorizo, tamales, soups like ajiaco and sancocho, and all the stuff she brings on her vegan menu too. A must-try!
