FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The first and (in my opinion) most important step is the initial conversation. I spend more time than most on this first step to make sure I understand not only the job, deadlines, and technical details, but also your level of expectation and what impresses you. Once the initial meet goes well, then the rest will fall right into place. Depending on what was worked out with the client, I will get to work and update the client at every milestone (usually by sending an audio file and description of changes made in an email). Some clients prefer to be in the room with me throughout the process, so they can observe and give input in real-time. I encourage this as real-time feedback is super helpful to ensure we´re heading in the right direction. The final revisions are KEY, in my experience, to give you a product that is precisely what you were looking for rather than having to settle for something "decent". For this reason, I don´t have a limit on the amount of revisions or type of revisions made (within reason of course) . Once you are happy with the project, I will hand you the final draft in a format easiest for you, be it a CD, mp3 file with ID3 tags (so mp3 players can recognize album art...), uncompressed WAV file, or even multiple files on a USB drive. Only when you are 100% satisfied and have the USB drive in your hand, will I accept my payment as agreed.
