- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
At PlantWise Botanical Pest Control , we believe pricing should be straightforward, honest, and tied to actual service — not long-term contracts or hidden fees. We offer customized pricing based on the size of the property, pest activity, and the level of protection needed. Unlike many companies that charge monthly while only servicing every other month or quarterly, we only bill for services that are actually performed. - What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When a new customer reaches out, we start with a conversation about what’s going on at the property — whether it’s scorpions, ants, spiders, termites, rodents, or just wanting preventative protection. We’ll ask a few questions about the home, pest activity, and any concerns regarding kids, pets, or sensitivities so we can recommend the right treatment plan. From there, we schedule an inspection or initial service visit. During the visit, we: Inspect the property for pest activity, entry points, and conducive conditions Identify the root cause of the issue — not just the symptoms Explain what we’re seeing and why pests are present Create a customized treatment plan tailored to the property and goals Our treatments focus on effective botanical-based solutions combined with real-world pest control experience. We treat the interior as needed, build a strong exterior barrier, target problem areas, and provide recommendations to help keep pests from coming back. After the service, customers receive clear communication on what was done, what to expect, and any follow-up recommendations. If recurring service makes sense, we’ll build a maintenance plan that keeps the home protected year-round — without locking customers into long-term contracts. Our goal is to make pest control feel professional, transparent, and easy while delivering results people can actually trust.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
As the owner of PlantWise Botanical Pest Control, my background comes from hands-on field experience, ongoing industry education, and specialized training in both conventional and botanical pest management. Working in Arizona means dealing with some of the toughest pest pressures in the country — including scorpions, termites, ants, spiders, rodents, and seasonal infestations unique to the desert environment. Over the years, I’ve spent countless hours learning pest biology, treatment methods, application techniques, and integrated pest management strategies specifically designed for Arizona homes and businesses.
