- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I have package pricing for staging jobs. In some cases I can assess your home and if you are a" do it yourself" kind of person I can give you a detailed list that you can complete. Then come back and have a final staging day after you do your "homework". If you just want to get the job done I can come and do that too! Whatever fits the best into your budget and time allotment. Staging and home redecorating is probably less expensive than you realize.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
When selling a house, customers assume that they can read a book and know what it takes to stage a house. There is much more to staging a house that doesn't come from a book! Objectivity is key. Its hard to see past what you own to see what others see. Would you go to plumber if he hadn't gone to school for his profession? I wouldn't.
