I wondered into Scott's gym last year looking for a Pilates studio . Scott explained what he did and the type of program I would follow if I came to him . It was the best thing I have ever done . He has greatly improved my health , fitness and strength . It's been a fantastic transition and very enjoyable . I'm 64 from the UK and have suffered from back problems and Artheritis for 30 years . When I'm seeing Scott I'm able to play golf every other day , which for me is a major achievement
Great experience all around! Intro: I signed up for the TFW 8 Week Challenge. Shane helped me set goals for my weight loss and strength training, and even some personal goals to work on. He took my weight and body fat and measurements. Over the 8 weeks, my goal was to lose 5 lbs, but I lost 9 lbs! I definitely felt stronger and better about myself after the 8 weeks! Training: Shane is experienced and well-versed. The workouts were always changing (some day more cardio and conditioning, other days more weights and strength training). I felt he became "in tune" with me and knew the right amount of how hard to push me, yet not make me want to puke or anything too torturous haha. He was patient with my abilities and helped improve my form and technique wherever possible. Location: Right off the 101, which was convenient. Facility was always clean and cool! Great variety of equipment and options, which helped things from getting stale. Conclusion: 5 stars all around! I wish I wasn't moving to another state because I would've been happy to stay training with Shane at Ascension Training Systems. Thanks Shane!
i first met with Janelle for massage work. i was recovering from an injury and had specific needs. what a joy it was to find someone who could find the problematic areas without being told where to look. i would give her a 10 rating for massage. when i was strong enough we began private exercise sessions. her focus was on proper alignment and appropriate exercises for my condition. under her careful guidance i quickly advanced and now, just a short time later, i am back to the gym on a regular basis and exercising daily. we briefly worked on nutrition. she gave me two suggestions that made a huge impact on my recovery and digestive issues. i'm very happy that i have had the opportunity to meet and work with Janelle.
John is fantastic! He is a great motivator and a constant source of support. His abilities reach far beyond the physical workout, he is an expert in nutrition as well as a life coach. For many of us that struggle with weight, it can be more about our emotional challenges than the physical ones and John understands how to help overcome all of what holds us back from being where we want to be.
Kelly is one of the best personal trainers I have worked with. Took 4 months personal training with her and she helped me to get jump start in my weight and fat loss goal. I lost 11 pounds in the last two months of Personal Training with Kelly. I haven't reached all of my goals yet, but her training gave me good start to kept me going. She is very flexible with her availability during her hours. Her training sessions are fun too. She works out in a gym where the gym is available for Group Training workouts too. She motivates your by making sure you are on track with personal training sessions. She gave me nutritional advice and she helped me with nutrition. Being a vegetarian, I am glad I found a personal trainer who is vegan. Overall Kelly is an excellent personal trainer with whom, I would once again get my personal training after I tried out on my own for some time.
