FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My first priority when meeting a new customer is to get to know them a little bit. We are all people and will always have something in common. I like to find out what is most important to my customer. Establishing a good relationship is the start to every successful job.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
With a background in customer service (grocery manager) I attended electrical vocational school, then worked as a DirecTV Technician before moving to AZ and working for Sears as an appliance repair tech.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
After starting my working career in grocery and moving up to management, I realized I enjoyed figuring out how things worked, and enjoyed even more when I could fix something that was broken. I left management in grocery to become a technician. In the past 9 years I've had the opportunity to work with some big companies like Cox, DirecTV/ AT&T, and most recently, Sears Home Services. I've learned networking & digital communication skills, mechanical and some electrical skills, and appliance repair skills. I love to continually learn new things in different disciplines. Even more so, I love to put those skills to use to help family, friends and my community with all sorts of problem solving.
