I cannot say enough good things about DancinGuru. Tara answered my request for help with my charity event, Dancing with the Desert Stars, agreeing to be an instructor and dance partner for one of our stars. She was phenomenal from the start, immediately meeting with our stars to establish a dance routine. She completed several rehearsals with our stars, way above and beyond what was hoped for or asked. She worked closely with our charity committee throughout the planning process. She and her Star raised the most money for the event, won the Peiple’s Choice Aware and most importantly but on an excellent show for the audience. I am humbled and grateful for everything DancinGuru did for our event. It would not have been a success without her. Anyone who doesn’t hire DancinGuru is doing themselves a HUGE dis-favor. She’s truly the best. 15 stars out of 10!

Tara is the best teacher for those of us who need a lot of assistance. I knew nothing about Line Dancing four weeks ago, but now I know the steps to Copperhead Road, Cotton Eye Joe, Fireball and Wagon Wheel. I would 100% recommend Tara to teach privatelessons to any one like me who needs a lot of repetition and technical explanation of any dance step.

The DancinGuru experience was everything we hoped for and more! Tara is truly the sweetest and most fun dance instructor we’ve ever met. She showed up ready to teach us a simple choreographed routine for my Mom’s 60th Birthday as a surprise guest, and she absolutely delivered.The group had no idea we were the entertainment for the night, and Tara instantly became part of the party. My mother doesn’t dance — at all — and she was dancing all night long! Tara’s energy, patience, and vibe made everyone feel comfortable and excited.We had an absolute blast with her. Having so much fun working with Tara. My husband and I are learning country swing in our home and each lesson we learn new moves, practice old ones, laugh and get better and better. She tapes the sessions so we can practice after the sessions and the whole experience has been such a blast! Highly recommend if you have ever thought of learning! Bonus- she comes to you!!!!

Tara was very easy to work with. She was communicative and stayed on top of preparation for my event. I hired her close to the event and had lots of ideas in my head and we worked them out together. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I pride myself in bringing quality service right to you at a competitive price. What I would like my clients to know is that I expect a commitment not only from them but myself as well. This will save my clients time, money, and be able to see results quicker. But most importantly do your research! I want to make sure you are getting what you want out of your dance lessons and that you know what your money is getting you! =D
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First and foremost I educate you my clients in my field of work. Most times expectations kill reality and that is because we base things off of assumptions. Learning to dance is like learning a new language. You cannot expect to be a professional in one week. It takes time like a fine wine! =D I like to then set goals for my clients. Everyone is different so there is not one set program for everyone. The rest will be history- we will create our own fun and experiences!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been dancing since the age of 5- I fell in love with it immediately! I have won many awards and titles at a young age then proceeded to get my BFA in dance choreography and performance at Arizona State University. I then studied with Fred Astaire Dance Studios for over 4 years training and working with the best. I received regional and nationals titles in competitive ballroom dancing and even had the privilege of performing at the Macy's Day Parade in NYC in 2018. I then began my company in the summer of 2019 to bring convenience to my clients and also focus more on social dancing.
