- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I am upfront with pricing and have no hidden charges. I won't quote you a lowball price to get the job and then tell you about additional costs that should have been disclosed in the first place. If I have the opportunity to see the job prior to quoting I can give the most accurate quote. Due to the cost for quoting, fuel costs, and travel time I do have a minimum service fee of $100.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
This depends on the job, however what I always do is start by getting a more detailed description of the work requested. Often, in work requests there is very limited information provided. Making sure that we both clearly understand the scope of work helps prevent any misunderstandings.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I received construction training in the military.
