- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Modernscapes gives free quotes for any job. Some jobs are difficult to bid through thumbtack so an in person meeting to be able to see the job first hand ensures that we deliver an accurate quote.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Typically we like to come out to the property and take a first hand look at the job. This allows us to see the property, take accurate measurements and get a good feel for what you are looking for. After that a free quote will be delivered to you and depending on the job a 3D design showing the design. After that it will be picking out material, plants, etc and getting the job scheduled.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Be wary about very low quotes. They will usually come with headaches and extra charges down the road. We get hired a lot to come out and fix the "lowest quoted jobs" which end up also being the lowest quality work. We deliver the best product you can find with a fair price. In this type of work you get what you pay for.
