FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
At Three Timbers, we price our Arizona landscape projects with full transparency and zero surprises. Every quote is line-itemed, so you always know exactly what you’re paying for—labor, materials, plants, rock, irrigation, and every detail in between. Here’s how our pricing works: - Clear, Upfront Estimates: We provide detailed written quotes that break down the entire project so you can make confident decisions. - No Hidden Fees—Ever: The price you see is the price you get unless you choose to expand the scope. - Competitive, Fair Pricing: We’re not the cheapest—because we use high-grade plants, proper installation methods, and trained professionals—but we are the best value if you want long-lasting quality. - Seasonal Discounts: We occasionally offer Arizona-only seasonal promotions on planting, xeriscapes, and turf installation. If you're flexible on timing, ask us about current offers. - Maintenance Pricing: For recurring landscape maintenance, pricing depends on the size and needs of your property. We offer monthly and bi-weekly plans. - Price Match Guarantee: We’ll match any ROC-certified, licensed, insured, and bonded contractor on apples-to-apples scope. We don’t match unlicensed or uninsured “cash” bids. We aim to provide exceptional craftsmanship, honest communication, and fair pricing so you know your landscaping investment is protected for years to come.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We keep our process simple, transparent, and highly communicative so every new customer knows exactly what to expect. It begins with a quick discovery call or text where we learn what you’re looking for—whether it’s new plants, a full xeriscape, turf installation, irrigation upgrades, lighting, or a complete landscape redesign. From there, we typically schedule a free on-site consultation. During this visit, we walk the property together, talk through priorities and design preferences, review what works best in the Phoenix Valley climate, and discuss your budget. For smaller projects, we can also provide virtual quotes through photos. After the visit, we prepare a detailed, line-itemed proposal so you can see exactly where every dollar goes, including labor, plants, rock, irrigation, turf, and other materials. Larger projects include a professional design so you can visualize the layout before we begin. Once approved, we schedule the work and source all materials from trusted local nurseries. You don’t pay anything until the project starts. During installation, our team follows the same high-standard process we use for every Arizona job—proper grading and drainage, high-quality plants, correct irrigation flow and pressure, clean edging and rock work, and precise finishing touches. When the project is complete, we do a final walkthrough with you to address any details and provide plant-specific care instructions tailored to the Phoenix Valley. We also offer follow-up support, optional ongoing maintenance, and warranty assistance to ensure your landscape continues to look great long after installation.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our team is professionally trained in every aspect of desert landscaping, irrigation, and plant installation specific to the Phoenix Valley. We’ve spent years working with growers, nurseries, and ROC-certified contractors to understand how desert soils, heat, and microclimates affect plant health. Our leadership team has completed extensive hands-on training in proper turf installation, grading and drainage, irrigation diagnostics, and modern xeriscape design. We stay up to date with Arizona best practices, new plant varieties, sustainable water-use standards, and local HOA requirements. Beyond technical training, every team member is educated on communication, customer service, and job-site professionalism so your project is handled by people who are skilled, reliable, and committed to doing things the right way.
