FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
It can be difficult to give estimate based on a description of a tree. I like to get a photo of the tree needing trimmed or removed so I can give more accurate estimate. If customer is willing to set appointment to meet and go over the job, this is always preferred.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am consistently educating myself with the newest safety devices and techniques that may be available. They say it takes 10,000 hours of experience until you truly master what you do. At the age of 33 I have far exceeded this amount of experience with trees and vegetation. Now every day while working, I still learn something new. Every tree can bring a new learning experience, this ads to the excitement of tree trimming.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
My parents started a commercial landscaping business when I was 5 years old. I was raised working summers and weekends through high school. I continued working for the family business to get myself through college graduating from ASU with degree in business and communication. After graduation I devoted myself full time to the business. We grew into a successful landscape maintenance company which my parents decided to sell after almost 30 years this past December of 2013. I enjoy working outside and being around vegetation so I decided to now focus on the arborist part of landscaping, tree trimming.
