Introduction: Hello, and welcome to my profile! My name is Eric McMillian, Executive Chef & Owner of Chef n’ Play Catering. A little bit about myself, I’m originally from Chicago, Illinois. I’ve been in the industry for about 4 years now. My culinary journey started at the young age of 11 and continued from there on. After college I ended up working for one of the highest ranked country clubs in America. In the past, I’ve worked under top-tier and Michelin starred chefs learning so much in the process. I’ve also cooked for and with celebrities. I’m confident that if you book with me you’ll be getting a top tier experience. I love bringing ideas from the mind to the plate. My experience with Chef McMillan was amazing. He was very professional and his rates were very affordable. We booked him for my friend’s birthday and ask for Italian because she loves Italian food. Everything was delicious, the vibes was great, he listened to exactly what we wanted and he definitely delivered. I have a brunch coming up soon and I’m definitely gonna book him again. I highly recommend him.

Chef McMillian was very professional and the food was amazing. I was very pleased with the service. Chef McMillian was on top of everything, and my party and I were very happy. I would recommend hiring Chef McMillian!!!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge a flat affordable fee based on the demographics of the area. What’s included is shopping, menu making, cooking (of course), and cleaning as well as any other reasonable requests by the client. Groceries are not included in the price.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to get to know about my customer as a person. Likes dislikes, happiest memories, things of that nature to gauge what kind of dishes or presentation might fit them best.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I finished the Culinary arts program at Johnson & Wales University in Charlotte. Ive also been working at the number two country club in the nation. This gave me a chance to work with many chef of different calibers including Michelin starred chefs and others from different parts of the world.
