We scheduled services with The Gathering for mine and my sister's birthday and it was the best choice! Chef David was our assigned chef. We had two phone calls with The Gathering before the event. One call was to explain what they can provide the other was to select our menu items, time, and date of the event. The Gathering was punctual in their arrival and professional with their greeting. The experience was very pleasant and highly entertaining! The fact we could experience a 5-star experience in the comfort of our Air BNB made the event effortless! The quality of the food and mocktails was exquisite! We had the 4-course meal, we chose a salad, lentil soup, surf and turf for the entree, and strawberry Brulee for dessert. My sister had a salad, mushroom soup, tomahawk steak, and strawberry cake for dessert. We also had two mocktails one was a lavender drink and the other was a strawberry drink. We will definitely keep The Gathering as a go-to for the next event we have!

If you are looking for a culinary experience, from taste and smell to presentation, Chef David is it! Not only is his food delicious, but he is a pleasure to be around. High quality ingredients are his specialty - I’d hire him again and again in a heartbeat!

I spoke to one of the chefs on the phone and never got the promised proposal -- I even tried messaging through Thumbtack a reminder but got no response. It seems like there is some disconnect between the administrative side and the part of this group that is doing the cooking b/c the chef I spoke with seemed great but I gave up and hired some one else.
