Doug is quite possibly one of the coolest people I have ever met. On our initial meet he made sure to ask questions that really drew out of me what my goals were for meeting with a personal trainer, which showed me he wanted to come up with a plan best suited to me. He is always encouraging me to be my best, work hard, and believe in myself. He is extremely knowledgeable and makes sure I am doing the exercises with the correct form and intensity so as to maximize my training. I ask a million questions “what muscle is this exercise using” being my biggest one, and he always answers and educates me on the not just how I properly do the exercise, but the why as well, and what benefit the exercise is providing me physically. He is also hilarious. He has improved not only my physical health, but my mental as well, as he is so dedicated to his craft and passion, you can’t help but feel positive about yourself when you’re around him. I’ve been working with him for a month now, and don’t see any reason to stop anytime soon (Sorry Doug😂). 100% recommend him to anyone serious about improving yourself in several ways.

Doug has been a great resource for me in my workout journey. I leave every session exhausted and feeling confident about my progress. I get more done in our 30 minute sessions than I ever accomplished in an hour or more on my own. When I look back at my strength and conditioning compared to when we started the change has been astounding. I highly recommend him for your personal training needs.

Doug is an excellent personal trainer! When I stand in a neutral position, I have an excessive curve in my back (technically called anterior pelvic tilt). This makes it difficult to activate certain muscles and can cause long term problems. After one of my first sessions with Doug, he sent me videos on different exercises and stretches I can do outside of our sessions to correct this over time. I didn't ask him to do this. He found these resources on his personal time for my benefit. He always pays attention to my form and not only shows me ways to adjust my form, but also explains why (e.g. he explains what my muscles were doing before and what they should be doing during the exercise). He's also very personable! I would definitely recommend working out with Doug.

Doug is a phenomenal trainer and down to Earth person who will help you to achieve your goals. I just moved to Arizona and have been wanting to get a jumpstart on my health and fitness goals. I thought the best way to accomplish that was to work with a personal trainer to get me going in the right direction. I spent quite a bit of time researching personal trainers in the area and I kept coming back to Doug. From the moment I reached out to him, he was quick to respond and has been easy to work with from Day 1. Like many people I’ve got a few old injuries that resurface from time to time. Doug was patient and highly knowledgeable about what alternative exercises I could do to train around my injuries without further aggravating things. If you’re just getting started on your health and fitness goals, or looking to take your training to the next level, I highly recommend giving Doug a try. He will meet you where you are and give you just the right push you need. If you’re looking for a personal trainer that will pain you past your comfort zone to get you where you want to be. This is the guy. He pushes you so YOU CAN do it. The best personal trainer I’ve had, He really listens and understands your goals. If you want someone to help you become the best version of you this is the person. If you want someone who is going to be easy on you. This is not the guy. I’ve only been going to him for a month and a half and I’ve already seen progress with my goal (Muscle gain). I am so happy to have found a great personal trainer.

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

    The cost of each session is dependent on how often you train and how long the session is, and you have the choice of when and how you're billed, and more. I truly want people to reach their goals and change their lives, and don't want cost to be an obstacle. So, I provide a variety of payment plans to accommodate virtually anyone's budget. When we meet for your free training session and consultation, I will share with you all of my options so you have the ability to work with me on a payment plan that works for you. Additionally, because nutritional guidance is such a key component of any exercise plan, it is included with the training at no additional cost. Lastly, I provide discounts for clients that can train between the hours of 8am and 4pm.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

    When you first reach out to me, we'll exchange a few messages to make sure we're the right fit for each other. Next, we'll schedule your free training session and consultation so you can experience what a training session with me is like at no cost. During this time, we'll also discuss your goals and nutritional habits in more detail, you can check out my private facility, and I'll answer any questions you may have. This will allow you to get to know me and my training style to make sure I'm the right fit, allowing you to make the most informed decision. It also allows me to get to know you on a more personal basis, and help you determine what will be the best path forward to get the most effective results.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

    I am a Certified Personal Trainer with The National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM). Additionally, I am First-Aid, CPR and AED certified.
