- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My rates are for in-home (my studio): $55 for 1 hour, $43 for 45 minutes and $28 for a half hour. Lessons are once a week. Payment is made the week before the given month to hold your date and time for the entire month ahead.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Review policies and procedures, Pin down a weekly date and time, be sure customer has a piano or keyboard at home. Practice is not optional. It is a must.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I stay on forums and continually reading all things piano teacher. Share knowledge with fellow music teachers through the Phoenix Music Teachers Assc. 40 years experience. Play professionally on weekends.
