FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is upfront and based on the scope of work, such as the number of Ethernet runs, home layout, and access (attic, crawlspace, etc.). Standard pricing is per in-wall CAT6 run, with discounts available for multiple lines or bundled services like smart panel cleanup or labeling. For larger jobs or scheduled installs, a deposit may be required to reserve time and materials. Any potential additional costs are always discussed before work begins — no surprises.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I start by asking a few questions about the home layout, number of locations, and where the modem/ONT or smart panel is located. From there, I provide a clear estimate and explain available options. Once scheduled, I complete the install with clean in-wall routing, proper termination, testing, and labeling. I walk the customer through the finished setup and make sure everything works exactly as expected before wrapping up.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have years of hands-on experience in low-voltage networking, structured cabling, and home internet systems. My background includes professional residential installs involving Ethernet, smart panels, and network troubleshooting. This experience has given me a strong understanding of proper routing, building construction considerations, and best practices for clean, reliable network installs.
