My septic backed up… and let’s just say, it was literally a pretty crappy situation. On top of that, I’m currently between jobs and doing everything I can just to stay afloat, so this couldn’t have happened at a worse time. From the very first call, the communication was excellent. The hard part came when we realized there was more going on than expected. I’ll be honest, I got overwhelmed. I even went inside for a moment just to collect myself and figure out what I was going to do. That’s when these guys went above and beyond. They called their office, explained my situation, and worked with me so I could still get what needed to be done at a fair and honest price.
And just to be clear, I paid for the service and they absolutely earned every bit of it. What they did for me was real, professional work. But the way they treated me, with compassion and understanding during a tough moment, is what truly stood out.
When they told me they were going to take care of me, I honestly got emotional. In a time where I’ve been feeling stretched thin and just trying to keep pushing forward, their kindness meant more than I can even put into words.
The eggs from my chickens and the two bottles of Marilyn Monroe wine I gave them were simply my way of saying thank you. They never asked for anything extra, and they certainly didn’t expect it. I just wanted to give something meaningful back because of how much they helped me.
