    Perfect Stitch by Angie

    (1 reviews)

I offer individual or small group sewing instruction. I provide training of the total non-sewer to someone who requires a bit more practice and assistance. A machine is not required. Machines are available to sew with in my home. I give assistance for those who might be looking to purchase or need training on a new machine. I do machine service and repair. Do you have a non-portable machine? I will also consider traveling to teach.

  • Three Purple Pigs

    (3 reviews)

In addition to owning Three Purple Pigs, I am a certified K-8 public education teacher with a junior high/middle school education degree. I use my teaching experience during instruction by developing organized, creative, engaging, hands-on lesson plans for each private session. I have been sewing as a hobby since I was young, and expanded my hobby into a business when Three Purple Pigs was formed in June 2007. I get to work with kids (which was my professional passion for 8 years) and do a creative hobby that I love!

  • Minerva Davila-Washington

Hi! My name is Minerva (friends and family call me Minnie). I was born in Puerto Rico, but I grew up in the "Windy City," Chicago! My husband and I recently relocated to Arizona. We love it, and we're staying. I am a teacher (pre K to 3rd grade), tutor, etc. My greatest passion is swimming. During my stay here, I want to dedicate my time teaching infants, children and adults the art of surviving in a body of water. I became a swim instructor back home and worked in the nearby Chicago suburbs (Joliet, Franklin Park and a few other areas). The fact that Arizona is warm (really hot during the summer), learning to swim in Arizona is an essential ability for everyone, regardless of age.
