My daughter has been taking sewing lessons from Three Purple Pigs for the last year. She loves it! She started when she was only 8 years old and Jessica taught her how to read a pattern, use her sewing machine and use a pattern to make projects including her own pajamas! She now can work on parts of projects on her own and has moved onto more advanced projects. She absolutely loves it and I know she will use these skills forever. We highly recommend Three Purple Pigs!
Ginny has a gift of evaluating what your skill level is and adjusting her teaching to the level needed. She is very proficient with the technical skills, and her artistic ability brings the flair needed into the project to set the finished product into the excellence realm. Regardless of the project, be it knitting, sewing, crocheting, or cooking, Ginny puts her best into everything she does.
I have been in business for about 40 years doing sewing, mending, alterations, etc. I have also taught sewing and crochet classes. I love this kind of work.
Hi! My name is Minerva (friends and family call me Minnie). I was born in Puerto Rico, but I grew up in the "Windy City," Chicago! My husband and I recently relocated to Arizona. We love it, and we're staying. I am a teacher (pre K to 3rd grade), tutor, etc. My greatest passion is swimming. During my stay here, I want to dedicate my time teaching infants, children and adults the art of surviving in a body of water. I became a swim instructor back home and worked in the nearby Chicago suburbs (Joliet, Franklin Park and a few other areas). The fact that Arizona is warm (really hot during the summer), learning to swim in Arizona is an essential ability for everyone, regardless of age.
This is considered a management program directed towards young adults who need a dropout recovery mentor. I cater to individuals aged 15 to 24.
Each lesson is tailored to fit the student. Music lessons consist of theory, classical training, and ear training. Art lessons are basic elements to advanced.
