About 2 years ago we finally transitioned back stateside for our new civilian — more grounded lives. It was not easy for our son moving back stateside in between his junior and senior year of high school. Needless to say he struggled with social issues with no help due to the drastic changes in our lives following a lengthy career in the military — constant moves, constant adapting to new surroundings, then COVID — our son had some challenges that proved hard to cope with alone. Not one year later — my son is coping with life head on again. He’s managing life’s stressors much better.
