I've been struggling lately with a lack of fulfillment in my life. If I'm being honest with myself, lately could be defined as several years now. Having dealt with depression since I was a young adult, I had learned to "manage it" by slowly and subconsciously narrowing my emotional and spiritual focus. Feeling less has allowed me to avoid the depths of despair that used to incapacitate me, but has also reduced my broadband of living. I started looking for counselors/therapists, and discovered Diana only after learning about spiritual counseling in a documentary I watched. Not knowing what to expect during our first session, I was a bit anxious. Although I've been searching for a spiritual reality that makes sense to me since I was a young adult, I was raised in a super religious family; So there's always that part of me that reverts to a place of fear and guilt when soul seeking. Diana made me feel at ease right away because she has such a calm and compassionate energy. She listened as I told her about my struggles, and was very reassuring. She suggested a really practical strategy to help with my anxiety during our first session that has helped me tremendously ever since. She has also given me some valuable resources to help me along my spiritual journey. Life has a way of sidetracking us despite our best intentions, but I believe Diana is someone I can trust to be a guiding light going forward.
