DJ Joe was a professional in every aspect at my wedding yesterday. I sit here writing a review before going on my honeymoon because I wanted to make sure to do this before leaving so I wouldn't forget to leave this review of how amazing he was throughout the wedding and then some. For the wedding he showed up early, got set-up, and needed little to no direction to what needed to be done. We ran into hiccups along the way for our original planned timeline for everything and he gracefully kept the wedding afloat and on track. One thing that he said to me kind of stuck, and it is the little things that people notice. When the caterers' staff was off-course with the champagne pour he was in front of our table pouring my head table their champagne and then continued to do half of the tables till the rest of the caterer staff caught up. I would recommend DJ Joe for any of the services that he provides, you will not be disappointed.

Hiring Carlyn Millea with Blissful Blooms was the best decision I made when planning my wedding! My wedding (which was attended by 170 guests) was in Rocky Point, Mexico. Naturally, planning from Phoenix, Arizona was no easy task, but Carlyn made everything go so smoothly! On top of the usual planning considerations, we also had to arrange bus transportation for our guests, schedule transportation to Phoenix for out of town guests, arrange transportation and accommodation for our vendors (band, photographer, videographer), arrange hotel accommodations for all guests, purchase flowers in Mexico (which isn't easy), plan an out of town rehearsal dinner and farewell breakfast.... You get the idea. Despite the fact that planning this wedding involved a lot of moving parts, Carlyn made it look EASY. She is incredibly talented and creative but organized and thorough- truly the best of both worlds. She always wanted to know what my vision for the big day was and did a beautiful job executing the tastefully done décor (which was ocean/beach themed of course). Her flower arrangements were truly spectacular. The day of my wedding went off without a hitch, and if there were any issues I did not know about them because Carlyn was on top of everything! I received countless compliments on the wedding weekend, which was everything I dreamed of and more thanks to Carlyn. I also gained a new friend in the process. I HIGHLY recommend hiring Blissful Blooms to handle your big day or special event, no matter what the size. You will be so glad you did!

When we began planning a wedding we really did not think we needed a wedding planner. Most of them were overpriced and full of themselves. We chose Party Bliss because Kristy arrived on time and prepared for every meeting. She was helpful in helping my wife design the table decorations she was attentive to our needs and it was readily apparent she knew her job. When my wife's and my work loads increased it was becoming increasingly difficult to manage the massive workload entailed to plan a wedding at a private home venue involving 8 vendors, live entertainment international travelers and 90 guests. We handed off the entire load to Kristy and told her she had our complete trust and confidence and she absolutely exceeded all of our expectations. We had a beautiful wedding, my wife was very happy and we all had a great time because of Party Bliss and the way they professionally executed their duties. Were we to do it all over again and we knew what a great company Kristy ran, I would have given her minimal guidance and a budget and would have not been disappointed. Brian & Donna McFadden

David drew the plans for the new garage that I am building, plans were ready within two weeks. The plans that David drew were submitted to the county planning and zoning folks and were approved with no changes. I found David to be very easy to talk with and he understood what I wanted without complicated explanations. Now. the rough-in plumbing is finished and passed inspection with no issues. Now, the garage is in the hands of the concrete placement people. Would not hesitate to use him in the future, should the need arise.

Adetoun is the best thing that happened to me during my wedding planning process. I hired her to do my decoration and she was exceptional. We bonded from our first meeting and she was one stop shop as she planned everything. She is very professional and keeps to her words. She did everything she said she was gonna do and even more. when the doors opened for the guess to walk into the reception venue, their face lit up because they felt like they were in Cinderella's ballroom. Pearl made our wedding experience go so smoothly! From day one, she mapped out her plan to contact all the vendors and making sure that they were all on the same page. The BEST decision I made for my wedding was hiring Tammie of Desert Vines Events as my wedding planner/coordinator. I'll be honest, I consider myself a pretty organized person who enjoys researching/planning, but no amount of research can replace the years of experience from a veteran wedding planner like Tammie. Tammie was absolutely professional, amazing, and so worth having! I told her what I like, my priorities and she made it happened! She was always quick to respond and when she gave herself a deadline, she always achieved it. What I also love the most about having a planner I didn't have to go insane trying to answer all the uncertain questions. Yes, it was PERFECT!     What does a wedding event coordinator do?

    Pulling off a large, complex wedding or an elegant, small affair requires juggling myriad details, including the officiant, food, drink, wedding cake, entertainment, transportation, rehearsal dinner, photography, equipment rentals, venue reservations and more.     A wedding planner is a professional service provider whose job it is to organize and execute all the details of a couple’s wedding. A wedding planner can be contracted at any stage in the wedding planning process to help to any degree the couple is willing to pay for. Wedding planning is similar to event planning in that a planning team handles the coordination of multiple wedding elements including catering, venue, guests, entertainment, decor, transportation and more. Anyone who has ever been involved in a wedding can confirm that wedding planning is hard work. Experience brings wisdom when it comes to avoiding or resolving day-of challenges. There is no legal regulatory body that oversees or certifies wedding planning as an industry. Anyone who chooses can call themselves a wedding planner. When looking for a wedding planner, be sure to read reviews, and make smart hiring decisions by asking about licenses and insurance.

    How much do day-of wedding coordinators cost?

    A day-of wedding coordinator makes sure that every detail of your wedding day goes off without a hitch, and deals quickly and quietly with any last-minute emergencies. For many brides, the day-of wedding coordinator is their best investment! The average national cost for a wedding coordinator is $800 to $1,000. Although full-service wedding coordinators often charge a percentage of the total wedding budget, most day-of coordinators charge a flat fee plus an additional hourly fee if the day runs long. For example, a 15-hour day-of coordination costs an average of $600, plus an additional $45 per hour if the coordinator works more than the planned 15 hours. Another option is to hire a coordinator to manage the last-minute details leading up to the event; for example, 25 hours of month-of coordination costs an average of $1,200. Several factors affect the cost of day-of coordination, including the region, the planner’s experience, and the specifics of the wedding. If the ceremony and reception are in two different locations, expect to pay more than if they’re in the same place. Also, extra details, such as managing food trucks or setting up snacks in addition to the meal, will increase the cost.

    What should you ask a wedding coordinator?

    When you hire a wedding coordinator, you want to make sure he or she gets you and can execute perfectly your vision of your dream wedding. To find the very best fit, it’s important to ask these five questions:

    • Are you available on my wedding date? If the coordinator isn’t available on your big day, there’s no reason to continue the interview — unless you’re willing to shift your date to accommodate their schedule.
    • What’s average cost of most of your weddings? If the coordinator’s usual wedding is outside your range, they might not be the right coordinator for you. Ask whether the coordinator requires a minimum wedding budget. In general, the wedding coordinator’s fee should be about 15 percent of your budget.
    • What is your speciality? Some coordinators specialize in day-of coordination, some create the overall vision, and others act as a producer. Make sure your wedding coordinator provides the type of services that will most help you create the event you have in mind, such as selecting vendors and handling their contracts, or managing the guest list and invitations.
    • What are your ideas for fulfilling our wedding vision? After you describe your dream wedding — rustic or sophisticated, traditional or funky — the wedding coordinator should be able to suggest appropriate venues, menus, decorations, etc..

    Do I need a wedding day coordinator?

    Even if you’ve handled every detail of planning your wedding, you might appreciate having a day-of wedding coordinator in your corner. Usually, the coordinator meets with you a few weeks before your wedding to put together a detailed timeline of everything that needs to happen on your wedding day. Then, on the big day, the coordinator makes sure everything goes according to plan — and handles any emergencies that pop up, such as party crashers, missing tuxedos, late vendors, disappearing bridal party members and more. Most wedding coordinators also handle:

    • Distributing the wedding day timeline to all of your vendors.
    • Coordinating all of your vendors, including the photographer, florist and baker.
    • Conducting the wedding rehearsal.
    • Helping the bride and her wedding party get dressed and take photos.   
    • Checking floor plans, lighting levels, cake placement, menus, favors and more.
    • Collecting the wedding gifts and keeping personal items safe and accounted for.

    Even if you don’t think you need a wedding coordinator, check with your venue. Some require that couples hire a day-of wedding coordinator for the day of the event.
