- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Window Washing Prices First story - includes sills and wipe down of the frame - $4.00 per window* Second story - at this time we only offer one story window cleaning. - What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I try to gather as much information as possible from the customer to provide an accurate bid. When I arrive at the customer's home to either give a final bid or to preform the work, I make sure to arrive on time and wear clean clothes and clean socks (outdoor shoes are always removed). When the customer answers the door I great them, introduce myself and hand them my business card. After the customer invites me inside, I take off my shoes and step inside. I always remove my shoes before going inside a home, it's part of my attention to detail. I clarify the work to be done, give a final bid and schedule the work.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been in the service industry for over 20 years. I have a good customer service skills. I always look for new ideas and ways to improve in my business. I read a lot of articles online and magazines about my industry. I read a lot about how to interact with people effectively. I read a lot of blogs about etiquette and customer service. Another way that I continue my education is I ask my customers if they have any suggestions. I am always open to improvement in customer service, productivity or anything else that my customers have to offer. I am always looking to improve.
