Howdy I'm Shane. I've played all over the Southwest since moving out here 5 years ago, from bars to country clubs to high end private events, weddings, corporate events. I have a wide range of covers with originals mixed in, and I also take requests, especially when discussed ahead of the event. I have more than 200 songs on my list already from 50s to modern day - Johnny Cash, Bob Marley, CCR, Jimi Hendrix, Zach Bryan, Tracy Chapman to name a few - it's a fun mix of covers usually not played by any other musicians although still classics that crowds love & remember. My originals are acoustic folk style and have some instrumental guitar interludes mixed in to keep things flowing smooth and dynamically. I am always in good communication and my number one goal is to do my part in making every event successful.

I represent the talent booking at Gila River Hotel & Casino - Wild Horse Pass; I booked Shane Zen back in October 2019, and again this coming April. My experience working with him has been nothing but positive and seeing him perform was really a treat. Shane is professional, friendly and accommodating with guests, and is an amazing musical talent. Back in October, he performed for 4 hours with no breaks (this was not a requirement) and I personally received several great positive reviews from guests who were wowed by his performance, which was a bit outside-the-box at times but in the best way. - Jon S., Gila River Hotel & Casino - Wild Horse Pass

My name is Chuck, GM at 12 West - Downtown Mesa. Shane Zen performed here back in January for a 3 hour set, which included cover songs and originals. He arrived early and brought all his own equipment including PA system. It was a great night, and it was clear Shane's music drew in a lot of people from the street. There was a period where he took classic song requests and then an hour later he was "looping" and shredding the guitar like Jimi Hendrix! Absolutely a pleasure to work with. Throwing a party can be chaotic, Shane was able to work on his own, read the mood of the people and blend in perfectly. Song choices were perfect for situations that came up. After performing a flawless night he took it upon himself to read the situation and tell me, “ the kids need you, I’m leaving, you can take care of the bill when things calm down” My hat is off to the gentleman, not to many people out there these days that are that trusting! I don’t leave reviews for things that are “typical” or expected. I leave them for impeccable outstanding, “wow I’ve never seen that before” work. Great Job Shane! My biggest regret from hiring you was Not taking more time to get to know you!
