Michael G. says, "I contacted Sons Landscaping LLC to inquire about putting in some sort of walkway next to the existing concrete carport slab, for a stable surface for my mother to get around to the driver's side door of her car while using a cane (or walker). Luis came out and looked it over and made a recommendation of a paver section that would hold up better that thinner patio blocks, and would put the top at the same level as the existing carport slab. This would be approximately 3ft x 16ft. Though I was nervous about what this would cost, the estimate came in very reasonable, and we contracted them to do the work. We also had their crew take out a dead bush and do some much needed hedge trimming.
I monitored the work as it progressed and was thoroughly impressed with the work, especially for the walkway. They compacted the existing gravel and dirt, put down and compacted several layers of sand and light gravel, carefully installed the pavers, mixed and put down cement base for the perimeter pavers, cemented around the entire walkway (feathering it down to ground level), and swept a sand mixture over and in between the pavers. Finished by raking existing gravel up the sloped concrete sides.
In summary, the work was completed on time, done professionally, and with great craftsmanship. I would highly recommend them for similar work, including the possibility of additional work on or around this property."See more
