I set up a surprise drum lesson with Joe Costello for my husbands birthday. Joe worked with our crazy schedule even when we had to reschedule. He was patient with me and answered all my questions. My husband said Joe adapted to his skill level and quickly figured out how to best use their time. Also the sound system setup was loud and clear. He was friendly and gave my husband confidence.Mar 5, 2014VerifiedJoe Costello's reply
Natasha, thx so much for the kind words. To be honest, your husband will be someone I call to sub for me in the future if he's interested. He is better then both of you might realize ;)
Excellent! Joe is very responsive and flexible. He is an active drummer who is hip but yet very experienced. My son loves working with him. Additionally he will reduce stress by coming to your house for lessons. Could not be happier.Jan 13, 2014VerifiedJoe Costello's reply

Thank you Kay!!
Joe has been my sons drum teacher for several years. Joe is extremely talented, organized, patient, professional, and encouraging. My son looks forward to his weekly lessons with Joe. Since working with Joe, my son's drumming skills have improved, along with his drive to learn.Dec 16, 2013Joe Costello's reply
Thank you June!
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?Very simply... 1/2 lesson fee and a 1 hour lesson fee. If I come to your home, a 1 hour lesson is the minimum plus I charge a $10 travel fee.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I take lessons myself from time to time and I am constantly reviewing new ideas, exersices and techniques on YouTube and other drum related sites.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?It has happened over time. People would see me out performing and come up to me and ask if I would teach them. I was also approached by schools to hold drum clinics to encourage the music students to follow their dreams.
