Eric is a skilled craftsmen. His tile work is high quality for the most part. Eric is not a project manager or customer relationship manager. Initially, he was friendly and positive about the scope of work. But then, after postponing the start of the project three times, working with him turned into a terrible and stressful experience. He was defensive; quick to blame others regardless of whether justified or not. He was argumentative and disrespectful; consistently interrupting and talking over us. He even lied at times about what he said he would do. For example, promising to discuss something with us at a critical decision juncture then working past that juncture, intentionally excluding us from an important design decision. In the end, he abandoned the project without completing the scope of work he had committed to doing both in writing and verbally. We would not work with him again.
