Jennifer B. says, "I can't say enough about their professionalism, follow-through, and timeliness in getting our project completed ahead of schedule. We contracted INSTATE Construction to remodel our primary, second and powder bathroom. I'm so incredibly happy with our our bathrooms and now they turned out and the quality provided. I would highly recommend doing business with INSTATE Construction as we are totally happy with our remodel and wouldn't hesitate to call on them again."See more

Tori E. says, "Mike came out to assess our project and, while we’re disappointed that they ultimately won’t be able to assist with preparing a quote for the scope we need, I wanted to recognize the excellent experience we had with him personally. Mike was incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and easy to talk to. He took the time to listen, understand the complexities of our situation, and provide honest insight without making us feel rushed or dismissed. What stood out most was his genuine compassion—he seemed truly sorry for the circumstances we’re dealing with, which meant a lot during a stressful process. While we’re understandably bummed that they’re unable to take on our project, we’re very grateful for Mike’s time, expertise, and kindness, and would absolutely recommend him based on the experience we had with him."See more

Jamie M. says, "I recently had my bathroom remodeled by ROR Construction, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. From start to finish, the team was professional, reliable, and highly skilled. They took the time to understand exactly what I wanted and offered helpful suggestions to improve the overall design and functionality. The quality of work was outstanding. Every detail—from the tile installation to the fixtures and finishes—was completed with precision and care. The crew kept the work area clean and stayed on schedule, which made the entire process smooth and stress-free. What really stood out was their communication and transparency. I was kept informed every step of the way, and there were no surprises when it came to costs or timelines. My new bathroom looks amazing and feels like a completely upgraded space. I would highly recommend ROR Construction to anyone looking for a reliable and professional remodeling company. I’ll definitely be using them again for future projects."See more

Kristina R. says, "We’ve used Fortress Contracting for both residential and commercial remodeling projects and have had a wonderful experience every time. Morgan and his wife Kylie make a fantastic husband-and-wife team—they’re professional, dependable, easy to work with, and bring a genuine, family-friendly feel to their business. The quality of Morgan’s craftsmanship is exceptional. His trim work in our commercial space is an absolute showstopper! I don’t even hang anything on the walls over the woodwork because it makes such a beautiful statement all on its own. Our projects have stayed on schedule, the quality has been excellent, and we wouldn’t hesitate to use Fortress Contracting again. Highly recommend!"See more

Jeremy Polk says, "Our den was flooded after the October storms and a good friend of mine connected me with Eddie to renovate my downstairs after it was restored (he actually connected me with the restoration company). I needed my den renovated fast since I WFH and Eddies team wound up renovating my office in a week and the entire project (living area, office, bathroom and closet) done in a month. NMCs pricing was very reasonable and he worked perfectly within the budget we had. Nely with NMC managed the project and she was great to work with and did an excellent job from start to finish. Were very happy with NMC compared to other contractors weve worked with."See more

FAQs

Answers to commonly asked questions from the experts on Thumbtack.

There are several great options for waterproof basement flooring. For example, epoxy floors are waterproof but are thicker and sturdier than paint. Make sure the concrete substrate has been prepared for application.

Tile is a designer’s dream, giving you a moisture-resistant surface that’s infinitely customizable. Rubber sheets or tiles are also good waterproof options, particularly for playrooms, workout areas or laundry rooms.

Vinyl tiles and planks imitate wood or other materials very convincingly, provide moisture resistance and last a long time. And sheet vinyl is affordable and a great waterproofing solution for those in need of quick fixes.
