Introduction: Every artist has a unique style or 'voice.' My work is often called whimsical with its vibrant colors and developed character interaction, having a carefree rose-colored-glasses view of the world. Especially with my watercolors. My digital paintings tend to take a more serious oil painting approach. Invoking the feel of old masters while putting my own spin on color theory. By bringing my own unique voice to the piece a client will receive an illustration that will enhance the story they wish to convey to the world. Finding that quiet moment after sketching out the piece, where the colors are brushed into place and as I go along the art becomes more alive. The smell of hot green tea permeates the room as I render a piece on the computer or watercolor is stroked onto paper. A smile spreads across my face and in this moment I am happy. When finished I drink my cold tea with satisfaction.

She has done 5 covers for my novels and her work has been brilliant each time! She took my vision and turned it into something stunning. She literally took my novels to the next level. After all, people ALWAYS judge a book by its cover.

On several occasions I have hired Suzy Almblade to color some art I needed done. She is fantastic! She can do any style as far as I'm concerned. Very receptive and able to turn projects around quickly. If you know what you want, you know what you're going to get from Suzy. Will collaborate with again!

Suzy is an amazing artist with great vision! I asked for a mural on the inside of my front door reflecting Cambodian style art. She came on the scheduled date and time and drew sketches on site. The mural took over several days to complete only due to drying time needed and having to come around my work schedule. She completed the mural on my door in less than one week and my husband and I are thrilled with it. We get lots of compliments on the detail. She accepts multiple forms of payment and is very nice. A true artist professional!

FAQs

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Shoot me an email, find me on Skype, call, or set up a meeting in person if you are local. I'm very personable and would love to talk about your project. The more I know the better I can whip up something special.

  • What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Artists tend to work best with a deadline and wiggle room for artistic expression. Also please keep in mind that art is our livelihood. We have to pay bills too. :)
