Introduction: **Note: The rate of $65/hour is a special discount I'm offering for the months of May and June. This is an adjusted rate for a Virtual Design service. My name is Alyssa Ray and I'm an interior designer that does Residential and Commercial design. I received my training from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago and also have a background as a jewelry designer/metalsmith. To get a better feel for my taste I suggest taking a look at my website and I also have two Instagram accounts: @alyssabethinteriors & @alyssabethincolor This is what to expect when working with me as a Virtual Interior Designer: 1. Virtual Consultation (free) As we will be working virtually we will have our consultation via video. This will not only allow us to get to know one another but you will give me a virtual tour of your space. We will discuss your design goals and go over images that reflect your personal taste. 2. Payment I will give you a quote for my services and once you accept the quote I will invoice you for a 50% retainer fee. I accept Venmo, Cash App, Zelle & Stripe (if you want to use your credit card). I will provide an invoice for you for each payment. 3. Photos I will create a 3D rendering of your space (assuming we move forward) so I will need three things: (1) Clear photos of the rooms to be designed with measurements (I will walk you through the measurement process). (2) Clear photos of the furniture you will be keeping with measurements. (3) Official floor plan (if available). 4. Design work Should you choose to move forward, once I receive the payment for the retainer—along with the signed contract and all of the measurements—I will get to work. I will recreate your space using 3D modeling and will convey my plans and ideas with renderings. We will work together via two separate platforms: Pinterest (for imagery).
