I reached out to this Thumbtack Pro to do my lawn. We agreed on a price, and I was told he would be at my home at 8 AM today. I followed up the night before to make sure he had my address, but I did not hear back. I waited a while and reached out again, and still received no response.
Now my yard has not been done at all. The problem is that my homeowners association gave me a limited amount of time to complete it. Having it done today would have been two days before my deadline. With tomorrow being Super Bowl Sunday, if it is not done by Monday, I will be fined.
I came to Thumbtack to find a reliable professional who would show up when they said they would. Instead, I have been completely ghosted. Now I have to start over and find someone else, and they likely will not be able to fit me in until the end of next week. I trusted this person to keep their word and show up as promised. This is extremely disappointing, and now I am back at square one.

Not reliable. Waited 3+ days to get a date then another 24 hrs for a time after replying quickly to them. Needed this work as listed within 1 week and as I’m now 2 weeks behind getting yard work done, I’m now having to find another landscaper. No confirmation text as advised. No answer to my call. No communication. Don’t recommend.
