I am currently offering Day Spa Services as an addition to my Massage and Bodwork offerings as a Mobile service. In the Medical arena, I have worked alongside Allopathic and Naturopathic doctors, Physical and Occupational therapists, Colon Hydrotherapists, Acupuncturists as a part of a clinical team and as a solo therapist. My experience includes working with clients who have Fibromyalgia, MS, Parkinson's, Alzheimer's, Cancer and Arthritis. I have provided massage therapy and bodywork to local and visiting professional sports team players and their staff. Injury recovery for the "Weekend Warrior" and those just wanting support while beginning a new work out program or are currently in one and wanting some structural support. I began formally training in Massage while I was traveling through out the US studying Dance on the college circuit. My training took me to NYC where I attended the New York School for Rolfing's first pilot course "Perceptual Body" and became a Certified in Dance Therapy at NYU's New School for Social Research. I earned a Yoga Teacher Instructor Certification at the YWCA, before completing my BFA in Dance at Mary Mount Manhattan College and am currently teaching Laughter Yoga and Hatha Yoga. Work History: I began working at the Boulders Resort and several other Resorts and Hotels through out the Valley as an independent contractor. When not on call in the tourist industry I worked part time as an employee of Scottsdale Family Health Care and rented an office space at the Best Part Hair Salon. I opened my first private practice office in downtown Scottsdale in 1991, Dreams in Beauty Day Spa in Sandpoint, ID in 1998 and Peggy Richards Massage Therapy and Bodywork in Payson, AZ in 2018. I am currently offering my services through out the year in AZ and on a limited basis in Sandpoint, ID. Through weaving techniques together or using them exclusively, my goal is to assist you in accomplishing your goals. Whether it be maintaining increased flexibility, structural alignment, joint stability, stress relief or injury recovery or pain relief. I am available to assist you. I enjoy working on individuals and groups! When I see people get something out of their session that they can take into their everyday life as being an improvement to their lifestyle. I am honored to have been given the privilege to have worked with them. I love to see clients become pain free, relaxed and more comfortable with their bodies and enjoy the way they feel.
Customers rated this pro highly for value, punctuality, and work quality.

My appointment is scheduled for this coming Saturday so I can't rate the massage yet. She has done a great job explaining the services and scheduling my appointment.Apr 3, 2018VerifiedPeggy R.'s reply
Thank you Susan. I look forward to giving you your session!
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? Each session involves utilizing specific modalities or individual techniques and has its own pricing structure. 1) Relaxing Massage - $85 2) Signature Massage - $95 3) Deep Tissue $95 4) Medical Massage $95 * OutCall fee - $25
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?Every client either wants to relax or needs relief from pain or stiffness, etc. Either before or at the time of the appointment, we would discuss in more detail what you are wanting assistance with and proceed from there.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have several certifications that have strict requirements to become certified and maintained in order to have the approval and legal right to use that organizations trademark name. I also take continuing ed classes for some of the techniques I do to learn the latest updates for any particular technique I already offer or will be adding to my tool chest. I also take classes that focus on the body mind connection and everything related to a persons being that is influenced by touch: psychology and play therapy, yoga and movement therapy.
