Amber’s food is delicious and beautiful. She is wonderful to work with and to be with. She is very interested in providing exactly what her clients want to achieve with their evening, event, etc. And, she delivers on her promises. I highly recommend her and can’t wait to hire her again.Mar 1, 2020VerifiedMaddox Lane, owner Amber Wilson's reply
Thank you Susan! We should be able to review clients, because you would get five stars for being the sweetest and so fun to plan with (bonus points for your great stories and conversation!). I loved cooking for your group and hope to see you again soon 🙌🏽✨

If I could give Amber a 10 star review I would! She was incredible to work with; from her approach to help me customize our menu according to various allergies and dietary restrictions all the way to the simple fact her dishes were absolutely delicious! We had a really large group of people celebrating my friend and mine 30th birthday. We had more than enough food and every single person was beyond impressed with the dinner. Amber was really easy to communicate with. We text, had calls and she was prompt on her email responses. I wish she lived in California I would hire her again and again! Oh and her value! Better than a restaurant no doubt!Jul 10, 2020VerifiedMaddox Lane, owner Amber Wilson's reply
Emily, thank you so much for this amazing review!! I feel the same way about you, it was a pleasure planning your Mediterranean dinner party. I left that evening knowing that I’m so lucky to do what I do. Your group was amazing (and gorgeous 😝). I’ll be sure to let you know when Maddox Lane is back in California 💗

Amber was amazing! I was celebrating my bachelorette weekend and needed a chef last minute and Amber came in the clutch! Her food was delicious and easy to make! My girls and I were all glad that she was patient with all of us. Amber, you are lovely, down to earth and personable! Thank you 😄Apr 2, 2020VerifiedMaddox Lane, owner Amber Wilson's reply

I’ve had the sincere delight of having Amber cook for several or my wellness retreats, events and cater my daughters 1st birthday party. I can’t say enough about her and her delicious, healthy cuisine. She’s creative, inventive, conscious and an absolute pleasure to work with. I would jump at the chance to have access to her fare on the daily, but I’m in Los Angeles. Arizona to say you are lucky to have her is an understatement!Mar 1, 2020Maddox Lane, owner Amber Wilson's reply
Thank you for your thoughtful review! It was an honor to cook for you and I can’t wait to bring Maddox Lane to LA 💗

I have worked with Amber for many years and she has been an integral part of my business. She has played a monumental role in my delivered food program - an essential part of my company that has grown significantly with her support over the years. Her culinary talents are top level (she is extremely creative in the kitchen) and her food styling is stunning. She has helped me plan and manage countless successful events, food photography sessions, large dinner parties, and more. I have complete confidence in Amber’s work - she is extraordinarily driven. I recommend Amber and her business Maddox Lane wholeheartedly.Feb 28, 2020Maddox Lane, owner Amber Wilson's reply
xoxo thank you Elissa 🙏🏽 thank you for your trust in me and for the amazing opportunities!
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?I offer the highest level of service and quality of ingredients and bring over 10 years of hospitality and food service knowledge. I don’t discount my work or offer “for-trade” services. My rates are competitive for my area of expertise in plant-based and blue zone diets and I have knowledge of the nutrition and wellness space as well as event management experience.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? The first step is to talk about their goals, and if an event, their vision for the day. For personal chef clients, we discuss health goals and diet. For events, I want to know your requests and inspiration for the food. Next, we always discuss your budget and get very clear on that. I get to work creating options and an outline for you to approve and we go over details in depth to make the day as smooth as possible!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I worked under top Nutritionist in Los Angeles, Elissa Goodman for six years and had a food business years prior. I successfully launched two new food concepts with Elissa, one being a 5-day delivered food program in Los Angeles (that’s doing amazing!). I’m also certified by the International Culinary Institute for Food Styling and I’m constantly honing my craft and learning about everything I can in the food and wellness space.
