Best Pool company in the valley!I was struggling with my pool chemical levels for 2 months and no matter what I did, I couldn't get the levels right. I went into a very large pool supply store with my water sample and they told me to just drain my pool... Not wanting to waste a couple hundred bucks on a water bill, I decided to reach out to Sun State Pools (they had just left their business card on my driveway) and thank goodness I did. Within a week, my pool was sparkling clean with perfect levels and we didn't need to drain it! I signed up for Scott's monthly service without a second thought. A few months later, the nearly 15 year old pump finally gave out. Scott sent me a few options for a new pump with very practical recommendations. He and his team replaced the pump and filter in just a few days and had the pool back up and running in no time. The new motor is so quiet and our energy bill dropped significantly. These guys have saved me so much money in electric and water bills, that the service nearly pays for itself! They're friendly, professional, and experts at what they do.One last story on Easter Sunday, I woke up to find my pool overflowing into the backyard. I shut off the pump and texted Scott, thinking they would show up the next day. Nope he was there within 15 minutes and fixed the problem in no time. I felt a little bad to intrude on his Easter Sunday but what other company cares this much about their clients? Best customer service hands down.I have nothing but good things to say about this team. I highly recommend Sun State Pools to anyone who owns a pool or hot tub. As long as I have a pool, I'll go with Sun State Pools' Services.

I hired this company to come out and change the sand in my filter as well as start a monthly cleaning service. I met with one of the owners who assured me of their quality service. They came out and drained the pool which took two days. Its only about 10000 gallons. Then they came back and let the auto filler refill the pool which took almost three days. Then they did the chemicals and through a tab in the return basket and called that the service.The next week it was raining so the guy comes in the backyard was there for less than two minutes and sends a report that the service was done. I complained and Mike, the owner says we dont brush or sweep in the rain well why come at all then? They did come back out the next day, but then apparently they were so busy they sent a picture of someone elses pool. I sent a message that it wasnt my pool and was told I was complaining too much and they would no longer service my pool. Well, good riddance! How can anyone be satisfied with this kind of treatment. Im sure there are a hundred other companies out there where my money is good!

As a new customer in the last few weeks, I have spent almost $900 for them to drain the pool, acid wash, repair the vacuum etc. Communication throughout was quite poor. And when they were supposed to finish the job - vacuuming up the twigs and algae, I was told that no az company would service my pool because lightening or rain was present. But I was sent little cheery messages that my pool was sparkling clean - not my pool or recent picture. But no communication was sent to me other than to add water to my pool. No mention about their inability to finish the job and reschedule the time to take care of what they left undone. There is not lightening or rain every day. And, of course, they will not finish the job that I paid for and cut me off as a customer similar to other reviews. Disgusting service. And ownership. Do not hire this company.

Unfortunately you paid us to acid wash and drain your pool, that was completed and looked great after. You also hired us to maintain your pool weekly but we also do not run any contracts this is in place in case you didn’t like doing business with us or we didn’t like working for you. I’m sorry it didn’t work out, also I can not have my guys in the middle of a rain storm with lightning holding a 15ft metal pole in the air. We do apologize for the inconveniences our cancellation might have caused you.

After confirming service terms and availability with Sun State Pools owner, I purchased a 2 month pool service agreement to now find out that he has my money and is not honoring the offer. Buyer beware!!!
