FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My fee includes consultation with you in person of on the phone, (ideally in person) drafting of your wedding ceremony options for each section of the ceremony, providing a list of potential wedding readings and rituals. I do not charge for mileage. I can attend the wedding rehearsal. I also do pre-marriage coaching. These are not included in the officiant fees.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I meet with you to understand the style, length and feeling of ceremony you have mind. Some couples know exactly what they want. Others like to take time to discuss ideas and review sample ceremonies in the process of creating their ceremony. In meeting you personally I have the best idea of who you are as a couple and what type of ceremony best suits your ideal scene. Once we have met, I send you a draft of options for each of 13 potential steps in a ceremony. I also send you a list of possible wedding readings and a list of potential wedding rituals you may wish to include in your ceremony. You send me back your preferences; I create the draft of your ceremony and send it to you for your approval. Once you approve the ceremony, we are set. I stay in contact with you right up until your wedding day to ensure that all is in order and to incorporate any changes that may be appropriate. I arrive early for your ceremony and make sure all is coordinated with your wedding planner and logistics. I am also available for a rehearsal which I recommend especially for larger wedding parties or when children are involved.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have being involved with wedding ceremonies since 2006. Member of the International Associations of Professional Wedding Officiants (IAPWO).
