- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Yes, $125 - 200 for a wedding, depending on the location and the need to attend the rehearsal. The band is different, depending on the configuration and how many musicians. Typically $50 per hour per musician is a fair starting point plus $100 for set up and tear down.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
It's easy. Email or call and we can begin discussing what works best for you. As a wedding officiant, I do not require a contract, but ask for payment just prior to the ceremony. If you are looking to hire musicians, after a price is negotiated, there will be a contract. Payment will be due just prior to the start of the event.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
30 years as an American Baptist pastor. BA in Music Theory from the University of Kansas. MA in Creative Writing from Pacific University, 20 years counseling as a pastor.
