I wanted a culinary experience to my sunday wedding brunch.
The brunch was from 9:30 until 2:00 sunday. Chef Jackson and
and his team came in put together some wonderful flavorable dishes. My guest loved the food and the culinary experience.
Chief Jackson was very nice and easy to work with, Open to try new ideas and ways of home style events. I think the event was succesful thanks to him. I would recommend him to anyone perhaps future parties we have I would consider having him come back create more flavors. I learned alot too.
I would perfer some of the food prepared before the quest arrived because the guest come ready to chow down. I would place names of dishes near the food. Narrow down how many dishes to be served. I think we might have given too much options to eat. Not that its a negative. I just think the culinary experience should be knowing what your eating more hands on with the chef. Instead my guest just ate and ate and ate. I wanted them to savor and be curious about what they were eating. Want to have similar experience at their home.
So my purpose for having it was too change the way people ate at home party. So I will work harder on how its presented to the guest. Chef worked hard to get the food out but I wanted him to be able to interact with the guest more. Question the guest about what they like about the dish. etc. Yes Chef Jackson did an excellent job. I give him four thumbs up. Love the food!

I hired Chef Siraaj and Chef Dave for a surprise birthday dinner for my husband. What great guys and fantastic chefs! First off, I hired them on short notice (only two days in advance) but no one was the wiser. They pulled it off as if they had been planning for weeks! Chef Siraaj listened to my food ideas and turned around an amazing menu. The evening was flawless from start to finish. I was able to enjoy my guests without the stress of cooking and serving. They even did the dishes (which by the way, they brought their own dishes, silverware, glassware, etc - talk about full service!) and left my kitchen clean and spotless! Wow! They were professional, personable, attentive and wonderful additions to our evening. I would hire them again in a second (and will)!

Best experience I've ever had! He responded to my request immediately and in such short notice, made it happen. On top of that, the meal he prepared for us (me my fiancé & 9 yo son) was out of this world!! I never post reviews, good or bad, but I do read them, but I had to this time. That's how awesome the whole experience & food was. Chef Siraaj was so professional, sweet & accommodated all my needs! Would definitely use him again & again, no doubt! Thank you Chef Siraaj for an awesome night! It was perfect! We will definitely see each other again, soon.

After receiving an initial detailed quote and confirming the "Hire" through Thumbtack, we attempted to contact the chef at least 6 times over more than a week using the phone number and email he gave as well as using Thumbtack's set-a-meeting feature and we received zero response. Had to scramble to find a different chef through other means.
