As someone who has utilized one of your online programs I can whole heartedly say it’s a game changer. The videos and daily schedule in trainerize make it so easy to use. If I can figure it out, anybody can! With gyms closing all around us I strongly recommend this program to anyone looking to keep up with their fitness needs. The support Brandon offers online is what sets it apart from other digital workout programs!Mar 20, 2020
Brandon is committed to providing quality training and coaching to those working towards fitness goals. He has good relationships with his clients and is innovative in his efforts to provide them with exercises and work outs suited to their individual needs. I enjoyed the work outs and the playful banter among other members working out.Sep 15, 2019Brandon Day - Odyssey Health, LLC's reply
Thank you Chloe! I hope you're doing well. -Brandon
Brandon is one of the most knowledgeable and skillful professionals in his field. His ability to identify dysfunction in movement patters and correcting improper methods truly does set him apart from the rest. Being a trainer specializing in post-rehabilitation, movement, and mobility myself, I can say that he is one of the best trainers I have ever encountered. Thank you Brandon for what you do! If you’re looking to optimize your health and your performance, he’s your guy!Sep 17, 2019
Prior to working with Brandon I suffered from chronic hip and back pain for about 3 years. I walked with a limp and ceased all workouts, eventually depression set in. Brandon is the first Physical Therapist who " GOT IT!" Within a surprisingly short period of time with my sessions with Brandon and at home exercises, I can walk my dogs without limping in pain! Brandon has also constructed a workout program to get me back into the game. I am eternally grateful to Brandon for helping me to get my life back!! AdrienneDec 12, 2019Verified
Brandon is THE BEST in the business. He has wisdom beyond his years. He helped fix and strengthen my lower back problem. Two thumbs up!Sep 14, 2019
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? My hourly rate is $125 - however, I have many discounts for training packages. The more often you come, the more you save! Also, for those that don't need that eagle-eye attention that one on one coaching provides, we have SMALL GROUP TRAINING. Unlimited sessions, over 100 hours of available class times, for less than the price of 2 one on one sessions! I also offer many services in addition to your standard one on one personal training. I do body work, cupping, scraping, fascial stretching, active release technique, among other recovery and soft-tissue techniques that I've learned over the years. Body work sessions start at $40/half hour.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?Every new client starts with a comprehensive movement analysis. We'll spend the majority of the first hour together going through an assessment process that I have been developing over many years that will tease out the movement pattern dysfunctions, range of motion and joint mobility restrictions, and motor programming issues that need corrected. This will set the stage for the fitness program that I then write. Whether you become an Odyssey Health client or not, you will walk away with a plan to get you to where you want to be. This is the foundation for my Movement Mastery Program. We'll also discuss your goals, history, nutrition, and lifestyle, in order to get a good overall picture of your health, and nail down a starting point, and most efficient path to reaching your goals.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I received a Master's of Science degree from one of the most prestigious Health Science Universities in the country, A. T. Still University of Health Sciences. My Master's degree is in Kinesiology (the study of human movement), with an emphasis in orthopedic rehabilitation and corrective exercise. But don't let the degree lead you to think that I ONLY do rehab and corrective work. The majority of my experience in the fitness world is in Strength and Conditioning. I have pursued many certifications and continuing education opportunities. I believe there is always more to learn. When it comes to the human body, both mechanically and physiologically, it seems the more I learn, the more I realize how much I (and WE, collectively) DON'T know. Some of my certifications include: National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM): Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) Corrective Exercise Specialist (CES) Performance Enhancement Specialist (PES) Precision Nutrition Level 1 Coach Functional Movement Screen (FMS) Level 2
