I'm an adult student for 15+ years who has always tried to fit at least a little bit of piano in a full work and home life. I found Mary after my prior piano teacher moved out of state. I've had several teachers, but Mary is outstanding and shines above anyone I've ever met, not only as a teacher, but as an individual. Her method of teaching has opened my eyes, helped me connect the dots, like no other teacher in my past. I'm inspired by her passion and talent and more motivated than I have been in 15 years. She is a patient teacher who goes above and beyond and gives 100% to her students. I've learned more from her in seven months than I've learned in my lifetime. I leave my lessons inspired, enlightened and encouraged. Her background is extensive and you get the sense music is in her soul. If you want to be touched by an extraordinary individual, you need to meet Mary Wagner. She's brilliant, in every way.

Mary Wagner has changed my life. You have probably seen thousands of posts like this but this is true. I tried to learn piano when I was six and for four years it never worked and I quit until I turned seventeen. Within two lessons with Mary, I learned ten times more than I ever did in those four years. No, I wasn't Mozart or Bach, but I had gained a foundation not only in piano but in musicianship as a whole. Now, it's been six months and I'm soaring in my musicianship. Mary has taught me so much about music but I've also learned so much life experience from such a lovely woman. She's helped me prep for college and because I'm doing the same program she taught at Scottsdale Community College, I'm getting college credit for something I love. She has given me the tools for piano and life. She has changed me for the better. Whether you're looking for that or not is up to you but I can guarantee you will become a better musician in a month with her than a year with anyone else. She is my hero and I look to her for anything and everything, especially for piano. Trust me, she is worth your time and effort.

Mary Wagner is a wonderful piano teacher. I tried taking lessons back in my 20s and after six months I was still doing just very basic things. Im in my 50s now and I wanted to give piano another try. I havent even been with Mary for six months yet and Im already moving my hands all over the keyboard and playing songs other than Mary Had a Little Lamb. She is amazing!

I am an adult who took up playing the piano five years ago. After struggling through two different instructors I wish that I found Music Mary earlier. Her teaching skills are formulated from her sheer love and passion for music. From her years of experience she instinctively knows when to be tough or how to communicate in assisting her students through a block to the next level. Mary is fully versed to take a beginner through the fundamentals or an experienced grad student to the next level. I highly recommend Mary Wagner no matter what level you are currently at.

I had Mary as my piano instructor for two years, I took a group class with her as well as private lessons. Even though I was in a class of over twenty other students Mary made sure to see how I was progressing as well as checking in on other students. In my first 9 months of studying under Mary I went from having absolutely no piano experience to being able to play pieces such as Moonlight Sonata and Fur Elise by Beethoven, Prelude in D flat by Chopin, Rondo alla Turca by Mozart and any other piece I could want to learn. The best part of studying under Mary is she does not just teach you how to play a piece of music, she gives you the tools to truly understand the pieces you are studying. The way she teaches doesn't leave you with the ability to play a few songs on the piano, if you decide to study under Mary you will be taught how to become a pianist. That is the best thing about Mary no matter what level you are at studying under her will help you become a great musician because she doesn't just teach you how to play songs on the piano she teaches you how to become a pianist. No matter your level Mary Wagner is the piano teacher you want to teach you how to play this instrument
