FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I offer monthly lesson plans. Schedules are confirmed at the end of each month, and tuition is due by the 5th of the following month. If you have remaining lesson credits, they can be carried over to the next month. Lessons can be rescheduled with advance notice, but same-day or within 24-hour changes are not accepted. There are no extra fees or hidden charges.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
For new students, I usually begin with a trial lesson or consultation to understand your playing level, goals, and musical background. Then, I design a personalized lesson plan — whether you’re preparing for an audition, refining your technique, or expanding your repertoire. Each lesson includes technical focus, musical expression, and performance guidance. I also help students set short- and long-term goals so you can see clear progress and enjoy your musical journey.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I hold two master’s degrees in violin and viola performance from the United States, where I studied with renowned professors and performed across the country. I currently perform with the Wuxi Symphony Orchestra, one of China’s most internationally recognized orchestras. With over 10 years of professional experience in both performance and teaching, I bring an international perspective and deep understanding of music education to every lesson.
