FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Rates are determined by age/grade and if the student is special needs or not. The average session is one hour long and is $48-$50. If you can afford $200 per month we can help your family. Special education and AP/College classes are more per hour.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Cynthia will come to your home, test the student, locate the missing building blocks in the subject that need attention, test how the student best processes information and organization and complete a family profile. We then sit down and you decide on a block of hours ( minimum of 24) that fit into your busy schedule and budget. I return to the office and find the perfect matched tutor to fit the student based on personality, learning style, organizational style, and subject. I will send the tutor a professional report and scans of all the testing and discuss how the tutor can help to bring the student up to and surpass that class as quickly as possible. Your tutor will personally email and speak with your student's teacher(s) weekly to see what we can do to help and keep your student organized. Our tutors send us and you a report after each session describing the goal and objectives completed at the session. Richard and/or Cynthia will contact you once monthly to see if you need anything such as a time change, adding hours, suspending tutoring hours temporarily, adding or changing a tutor, and helping you with any issues you face. We are here for you 24/7 and we deliver outstanding customer service!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We are constantly taking continuing ed classes and researching what is new in the field. We attend conferences twice annually.
