FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
All of our services start with a standard base rate, which helps ensure consistent, quality care. However, final pricing may vary depending on factors such as home size, number of rooms or bathrooms, scope of work, service difficulty, and any additional services requested. We’re happy to provide custom quotes after a brief consultation or walk-through, so you’ll always know what to expect before we begin. No hidden fees — just fair, honest pricing tailored to your needs.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My process depends on the type of service being requested. For straightforward tasks like furniture assembly, mounting, or installing shelving, it’s simple: tell me what you need, I provide a quote, and if it works for you, we schedule and get it done. For larger or more detailed projects — like a full unit deep clean or hoarder cleanup — I prefer to start with an initial conversation and a baseline quote, followed by an in-person or virtual walkthrough before giving a final estimate. Everyone has a different idea of what “clean” or “trashed” looks like, so seeing the space helps me accurately assess the time, effort, and supplies needed. It also gives me a chance to offer optional add-on services that might be helpful. This approach ensures transparency, fair pricing, and the best possible outcome for the customer.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
While I do have formal higher education, the skills I bring to this line of work are largely shaped by over 20 years of real-life, hands-on experience. My training started early — when I was told, “If you can fix it, you can have it,” I learned how to repair my first car. In my first apartment, when things broke and the landlord didn’t send maintenance, I taught myself how to fix them. From moving cross-country multiple times to deep cleaning rentals and loading trucks securely, I developed a practical, no-nonsense approach to getting things done right. Whether it was patching holes to save a deposit or learning how to clean and restore spaces from the ground up, I’ve been problem-solving and building these skills out of necessity
