We hired Transformer Landscaping in Nov/Dec for our backyard turf/pacer install. Rick informed us he was about 8 weeks out & we agreed. Rick kept touch with us & even when our turf choice was not in stock (supply chain issues) he was able to get us a close substitute which was in stock. The crew was polite, clean in their work daily & when the project was complete. Would not hesitate to recommend or use Transformer Landscaping again. Always truthful, on-time & on budget.

I tried to hire a landscape company in June of 2014 to install a new irrigation system and was surprised by the number that didn't return my phone call. Rick, who was on vacation at the time, called me right away and had a representative survey the job that same day. When Rick returned from vacation he came by personally to deliver the bid (on a Sunday no less). His team installed a new drip system at my home in Oro Valley in July. They did excellent work, finished on time, and cleaned up after themselves. There were a couple of pots that they forgot to run lines to but one phone call to Rick and that issue was fixed right away. Rick is very professional in his dealings and I would hire him again. I highly recommend Transformers Landscaping

After renting my home out for 3 years I returned to find my backyard irrigation system malfunctioning. 75% of my plants were not receiving water. I called Rick at Transformers who recommended an upgrade to my old in-ground irrigation system. Although the upfront cost was higher than I had imagined, the new system will pay for itself over the years. Rick showed me how to manage & maintain the system on my own. In addition, Rick explained the settings on my automatic drip system, & how to adjust water flow to individual shrubs. His team, Travis & Alfonso worked hard in the sun for many hours to upgrade the irrigation lines. Not only were they hard-working & professional but they were also tolerant of my new puppy who was poking her nose wherever they worked. And added bonus was they gave me a line to my potted front door flowers so that it would be included in the regularly scheduled waterings. My plants are thriving which makes me happy!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
For landscape maintenance my minimum is $175 which covers the first hour. We charge $175 per hour for a crew of 2 - 3 people.
For other types of jobs I need to offer a free on site estimate to give an exact price. Pictures can help but seeing the job in person is the best way to give a price.
We have a fee system for all we do. I only discuss pricing with customers via phone or in person. Never any hidden costs. You pay what the proposal says. Giving firm quotes without seeing a project is almost impossible. Steer clear of those who bid without seeing the project first.
Senior citizen, military, firefighter, border patrol, law enforcement discounts are available.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Meet with customer, email proposal, sign customer and schedule work.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Degree in Business Administration and Autobody Repair and Painting.
