wow .. Where to start about this amazing Guy that has entered my life!! The Discipline. I've always thought I couldn't handle. Intimidation working out with someone that's already. In shape. Eddie Lopez. Is one of the best things that have ever happen to me. The best coach .friend..mentor and the guidance that most of us humans need when we dont have that extra push or the motivation. To get up and make a change!! I have become a completely. Different person inside and Out and its so crazy. How many people that will start to recognize. Change in you.. I have been training with Eddie Lopez now for 3 months and have lost 40 pounds and more then 3 dress sizes all in 3 months.. At first. I just wanted to lose the weight. And now I want so so so much here!! If I could do this. Anyone can do this!! Very hard work but if u put the effort in. You will succeed!! #A new Better Me Just because. That one Person Cared#

I hired Eddie to help me get back in shape after having my 3rd child. We met at the gym and of course he was ready and waiting when I got there. We talked briefly about my goals and then he put me through a fitness assessment, which was quite challenging but he made it so much fun and was so encouraging that we flew through the workout. We then spoke at length about my goals and he gave me a whole program customized to my needs. I've been meeting with him several times a week since then and I am so happy. We don't waste time, we get in and get out, which I love because my schedule is very tight. He has given me pointers on nutrition and overall health, but he's always positive and never demeaning or abrasive. He has made the whole task of getting back in shape much less scary and even fun for me. I wish I would have started with him sooner but I will be keeping Eddie around for sure.

From day 1 Eddie Lopez has been absolutely amazing!! I was referred to him by a friend who in just a few months had already lost 40 lbs. In just a few short weeks of working out with Eddie myself, I too am noticing changes in my own body. Not just physical changes but also mental changes. The workouts are suprisingly becoming easier for me and I'm actually looking forward to working out instead of dreading it as I did before. I feel comfortable with Eddie, I'm not embarrassed by what I can't do and most importantly to me he does not let me give up! I'm looking forward to continuing to train with Eddie and I'm confident he will help me reach my goals. Thanks (EDWARD) I appreciate you!!

I have had such a great experience at Ignite Fitness. Eddie Lopez is my trainer and he is great. Let me tell you, my schedule is crazy hectic (and I could easily say I don't have time to work out but I don't- No Excuses people) and I'm very appreciative that Eddie REALLY works with and around my schedule even if it means being at the gym at 6am or 6:30am. I'm definitely not a morning person and from what I understand neither is he but we both make the effort to be present because it's important. Even when we are tired and still trying to wake up, Eddie has crazy beast mode energy and trust me, it is clear when he's in the room- whether he's giving high fives, dancing, yelling funny noises, or giving positive feedback, he pushes me to do my best and pushes me to my limits and creates a FUN, safe, comfortable environment. It's crazy what I've learned about myself, my body, and mind and that's because I have a trainer like Eddie who continues to push me and educate me. He is aware of my limits and knows when not to push anymore which is important because he keeps me safe, consistently corrects my form to prevent injury, and always explains what muscles we are working and what and where I should be feeling it. If for whatever reason something is painful or doesn't feel right, he is quick to correct it and stop the move which again I appreciate because it shows he's competence and he's priority to keep his clients safe so they could continue to work out. I appreciate that he tailors workouts and weights for my body size, type, and personal strength, and no matter what he helps built confidence (even if your lifting a whopping 5 pound weight, he makes you feel like your lifting 300 pounds) but he knows what's right for you! I've been working out with Eddie since June (unfortunately not consistently yet because of my schedule) but since then i lost an inch from my waist, an inch from my thighs, and 6 pounds of my weight. What has been important to me and I have gained a lot of is strength and stamina which again Eddie has helped me with using his knowledge of different workouts and targeting different parts of my body and muscles. Even when a workout looks hard or impossible, he continues to motivate me and once it gets "easy" he adds resistance and weight which continues to built my strength and stamina. Eddie always has something different to do and his workouts never get boring! After every work out, Eddie knows the importance of stretching, so you never leave without "giving your muscles a break". Even when relaxing my muscles, I have noticed how much more flexible I am! I'm able to hold my stretch longer. I know working out sucks and it's hard (at least for me) but it's important to make the decision to make an investment, have goals, have LOTS of patience, work out consistently, maintain a healthy diet (with some cheat days) and hire Eddie :) because he has made a difference in how I see the workout world and my body through his education. This has definitely been an investment well worth it. I will continue to have Eddie Lopez as my trainer to be able to reach my goals. I will check in with another rating in about three months and see where we are at. This time I'm expecting more consistency with my schedule, my workouts, and my diet which I'm positive I will see more dramatic results.

Eddie is fantastic! No matter what goes on outside the gym, the minute you walk thru the door, he makes you feel like he is excited to train you! He is committed to your results! He is knowledgeable and professional. I feel stronger and more confident than I have in years!! Week by week I can see my body changing and my shape returning. Eddie also trains my ten year old who struggles with his weight. My son is obessed with football and Eddie's football skills make him a superstar in my son's eyes! Eddie has incorporated activities in their workout that make it fun and not just about losing weight. I knew I picked the right trainer for my son when after a workout, he said, "Mom, Eddie makes my feel good about myself."

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

    I'm a proud U of A alumni and former Wildcats football player. Upon graduation, I decided that I wanted to devote and pursue a profession as a health coach and personal trainer. During my 4 years in college, I had the opportunity to attend many coaching and training clinics in which i learned about the most advanced and modern training methods. Since then, I've worked with hundreds of people from all walks of life, and have helped them reach their health and fitness goals. It is truly a rewarding career and I love every bit of what I do.

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

    I work with men and women of all ages that are looking to increase their overall health, increase strength, increase their confidence, decrease body fat and want to look and feel great. I also work with high school, collegiate, and professional athletes that are looking to dominate in a specific sport and become a fundamentally better athlete.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

    My advice to you is, hire a trainer that has proven RESULTS, has a great personality that you like, and is willing to give nothing less than 100% of his or her attention and commitment to your fitness goals and needs.
