Introduction: I am a United Stated Air Force Veteran and a Master Level Personal Trainer with a heart of a teacher. Whether you are a beginner or advanced, 14 years old or a 100+ years old, I can help you. I have been assisting people with personal training in Tucson since 1994. It is my mission to add value to your life in any way possible because, I understand how it feels to struggle with your diet and exercise. I offer personal training, phone coaching (meeting on the phone every week for coaching, mentoring and accountability). As a master personal trainer with over 40,000 hours of experience, I have seen almost every possible scenario. So whatever your challenges are, I can coach you through them with personal training or coaching over the phone. With me, you will get accountability, coaching and mentoring to a professional. This is a huge benefit for you. You don't want accountability from a spouse or friend. They will stop nagging you after a while. Coaching and accountability with a professional like me, will help keep you focused on what you really want because I will hold you to it. What I like most about what I do is seeing the actual results in people whether it is from a body fat analysis change or before and after pictures and how they always say how they feel better and perform better because it is measurable.

Mark is by far the best personal trainer in southern Arizona. He makes you feel comfortable and takes the time to understand what your goals. The thing I appreciate most about Mark is that he holds you accountable to the goals you want to achieve. In addition he gives you a diet plan specific to what your fitness goals are. Mark has given me a strong foundation to continue improving myself both physically and mentally. If your ready to become the best version of yourself give Mark a call.

I just hired Mark as my "first-ever" personal trainer. He was one of 4 trainers that I had communicated with, prior to my "determining" that I really could not make a time-commitment for "training". I told all four trainers of my decision to "wait". All said "ok" - EXCEPT Mark who said (in a very nice way) - QUIT PROCRASTINATING!, and let's GET BUSY. I then did my hour-long consulting session with Mark, and committed to a training program/schedule. Point: I know that I NEED a trainer who will PUSH me, and Mark, by his "get-off-your-butt" response demonstrates his skill in motivating people to succeed. My training starts tomorrow, and I'm STOKED.

I've been doing personal training with Mark Saunders for 2 mos now -- 3 times a week, an hour each time. Mark is absolutely excellent as what the does. He pushes me to my limits (yet also knows when to exercise appropriate caution) , holds me accountable, and is fully committed to my progress. In addition, Mark is 100% dependable, available for questions/concerns outside of the training session, and always pleasant to be around. Bottom line: Training with Mark has proven to be one of the best decisions I have ever made. I expect to continue with him long into the future!

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

    Purchasing personal training is not like buying a loaf of bread and shopping for the cheapest loaf. Which I don't recommend either. I am fair in my pricing and believe the benefit of training with me is; I have over 35+ years of experience and compassion for the struggles you deal when it comes to your health and fitness. I have the ability too teach you in a way you will understand. You will be able to implement my plan for you and your new habits that will lead you to a lifetime of success!

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

    The first step is scheduling a complimentary consultation. This is where we get clear on your goals and make a game plan for your success. This can be done on the phone or in person. Consider contacting me to schedule a time for us to meet.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

    I get weekly coaching from an expert in my industry. It is helping me become a better trainer and coach. I also read books, magazines and blogs about health and fitness and blog about it daily myself. I love learning and improving myself as a personal trainer and coach. Continuing education is something I do on a daily basis and share the most important information and strategies with my clients.
