- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
At F.I.T. CONCEPTS, our priority is to ensure every client begins their journey with a safe, individualized, and effective plan. Our onboarding process is designed to gather essential health information, assess current movement patterns, and create a training approach that aligns with your goals. Step 1: PAR-Q & Health Screening We start with the Physical Activity Readiness Questionnaire (PAR-Q), a short but important health screening tool. - Identifies any medical concerns or conditions that may affect exercise. - Helps us determine if medical clearance is recommended before beginning training. - Provides insight into your exercise history, lifestyle, and personal goals. - This step ensures your safety and allows us to design a program that’s right for you. Step 2: Movement Assessment Next, we complete a movement assessment to evaluate how your body moves and identify any areas for improvement. This process includes: - Postural & Alignment Check – Assessing standing and dynamic posture to spot imbalances. - Mobility & Stability Tests – Evaluating joint range of motion and control through basic movement patterns. - Fundamental Movement Patterns – Observing squats, hinges, pushes, pulls, rotations, and carries to highlight strengths and compensations. - Balance & Core Control – Testing single-leg stability and trunk activation for athletic and everyday function. Step 3: Goal Alignment & Program Design Once we understand your health background and movement baseline, we’ll: - Discuss short-term and long-term goals. - Map out a personalized program that focuses on safety, performance, and progression. - Establish clear milestones so you can track progress along the way.
