FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our pricing is simple, honest, and based on hourly rates — no hidden fees, no surprise charges. We charge by the hour depending on crew size, with a 2-hour minimum on weekdays and a 3-hour minimum on weekends. Every move is different, so we tailor our estimates based on the size of the home, access details, and how much needs to be moved. We’ll always give you a clear breakdown before booking so you know exactly what to expect. Payment is due upon completion of the move, and we never require a deposit to schedule your date. Our goal is to provide fair, upfront pricing that reflects the hard work and care our crews put into every job.
 - What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When a new customer reaches out, I start by gathering the key details about their move, such as the size of the home, the type of items being moved, access details (stairs, elevators, distance to truck), and preferred date. From there, I provide an honest, no-obligation estimate based on our hourly rates and expected timeframe. Once everything is confirmed, I make sure the customer knows exactly what to expect on moving day, arrival times, crew size, and our process for protecting furniture and flooring. On move day, our team arrives on time, walks through the home to plan the safest and most efficient route, and keeps open communication throughout the job. After the move, we do a final walk through to ensure everything is where the customer wants it and that they’re fully satisfied before we wrap up. From start to finish, our goal is to make the move smooth, stress-free, and handled with care.
 - What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My training comes from years of hands-on experience in the moving industry. I’ve spent over a decade learning every part of the process — from proper lifting and packing techniques to furniture disassembly, truck loading, and customer coordination. I’ve also completed safety and equipment handling training to ensure every move is done efficiently and injury free. Over the years, I’ve trained my crews personally to follow the same standards, protecting floors, walls, and furniture while keeping moves organized and stress-free for our customers. Most of what I know came from real world experience, repetition, and a commitment to doing things the right way every time. That’s what’s built Badgerland Movers into the reliable, customer-focused company it is today.
